About Meander & Coast
Nearly 3/4 of the earth is covered in water, and we love to be swimming in it, floating on it, and looking under it. So we always gravitate to those water-covered areas when we travel together. We also think getting there is half the fun. Whether exploring nearby cities, visiting cheesy roadside attractions, or taking goofy family selfies in front of National Park signs, we’re enjoying every moment of the journey.
We’re a geeky, sarcastic family fitting adventures into our everyday lives. With our day jobs (artist and engineer) plus the busy schedules of 3 teens/tweens to work around, it’s not always easy to find the time to travel but it’s always worth it. As teens, our children are past the stage where the hotel pool is the favorite vacation activity and are able to appreciate all of the experiences that our trips have to offer. They’re ready for adventure, culture, and as always, the never-ending search for delicious food. Sounds great to us!
Looking for saltwater, freshwater, or even frozen water (for the skiing family members)? You’ll find it all here at M&C.
